This essay highlights the impact of fleeting connections. The line βkindness knows no language or boundaryβ stands out. It urges us to break from our bubbles and be present. Love!!! π
Happy to know you enjoyed and resonated!! Yass, fleeting connections always have a way of reminding us of our shared humanity. sending loads of love right back at ya, Nicole!! ππ
You write in such a beautiful way! I loved reading through it. Also, I 1000% agree with everything you said, I loveeee first times (but then, I also have ADHD so it's kinda my holy grail to start things!)
means so much, Melissa! π been there, the ADHD brains live for that kind of adrenaline rush of starting new and different things! totally with you on this! Wishing you loads more exciting and adrenaline firsts to shape your life! Cheers and hugs! <3
Not talking to strangers is one of the worst things Iβve heard. So many times, strangers have helped me in ways I never expectedβpeople who come out of nowhere, offering comfort and assistance even when they have their own things to do. Itβs as if they take responsibility for helping, even when I might have made mistakes.
You canβt live multiple lives, but by talking to strangers and listening to their stories, you connect with different parts of life youβve never seen or thought about before. Conversations with strangers broaden your perspective.
But sometimes you have to trust your gutβif something feels off, itβs okay to walk away
Yass, you know it! Most memorable reminders and kind moments come from bizarre plans and unexpected people. Kindness, compassion, and stories change us a looot in how we see the world! And yes, ALWAYS listen to your gut. It knows the way. Happy you resonate with it, Vidhan! <3
I really liked the part where you talked about how a simple glance or word can alter lives.
Itβs so trueβwe never know how much a small act of kindness can mean to someone. It reminded me to be more intentional about connecting with people instead of just rushing past.
Such a lovely post. My post today is so in sync with this! I hope we can promote a new movement toward kindness and connection, all of us together. People are aching for it; they just don't know.
Thereβs a strange magic in meeting strangers you might never see again. It frees you. No history, no future, no need to impress. Conversations go deep, fast. They show you their true face, and it's usually a welcoming smile :-)
We are always one conversation away from changing our life. I believe it's more likely that it comes from someone who has nothing to loose by opening up with us.
It's amazing how small acts of kindness from strangers can completely change someone's day or even their life.
The truck driver who helped you get to a safer stop and the guy who waited with you for the busβthose moments show how much goodness is still out there.
I wonder how many times weβve been that unexpected help for someone else without even realizing it.
Have you ever had a time where you were the stranger who made a difference?
i once went to pick up my coffee, and i had accidentally spilt it all over my blouse. this kind stranger, bless him, graciously offered me his. he said, "i can't give you a new shirt, but i can give you this!" omg. i almost cried.π
You're absolutely right, Anjali. At a time when it's becoming easier to hide behind screens, we need to step outside our comfort zone more. Great read!
